Picture of Henry the Tulip Bulb visit my store!
Waynesfield-Goshen

Waynesfield-Goshen Schools hosted Linda M. Brandt at their school on Friday. As the pictures were taken, they were included in the design of the web site and they were uploaded to this site later that afternoon.

After the assembly that lasted about 30 minutes, Linda taught 4 sessions of 35 minutes each to the Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade students.

She read her book, “Henry’s Life as a Tulip Bulb” to children as she was assisted by Nancy Myers and Henry, himself. After reading the book, Linda asked the students for input regarding an actual page in one of her upcoming books.

Students from each school and from each class make recommendations to include various objects in her painting. In this case, Linda added the Waynesfield-Goshen mascot, a potted plant, and an ice cream store to the painting.

She, then, taught the students how to create a Storyboard and received suggestions on what to place into this story. She, also, answered the student’s questions as she created her artwork in front of the students.

Linda had a wonderful time at Waynesfield-Goshen School and so did Henry!
